The story of Auberge de Savièse

Auberge de Savièse restaurant is located in the picturesque Pâquis district, just two minutes’ walk from the Cornavin central train station and the Geneva Lake. Previously called the “Vieux Renard” (The Old Fox), it has been offering a traditional Swiss cuisine with local dishes from the Wallis canton  and Gruyère specialties for more than 50 years.

Auberge de Savièse has everything you expect from a high-quality restaurant. We invite you to discover or rediscover delicious dishes such as Raclette, the Half & Half fondue (50% gruyère AOP & 50% vacherin AOP), the homemade cheese fondue 100% gruyère AOP, the goat cheese fondue but also the Bourguignonne, Bacchus or Chinoise meat fondues. Auberge de Savièse also offers daily specials at lunchtime and a variety of dishes.

Whether you choose to eat outside on the terrace on a sunny day, or indoors in the charming Carnotzet during the winter season, our team will be delighted to welcome you and assist you.
